Established in 1977 by John Monk, the company has grown to become one of New Zealand’s largest and most recognised importers of houseware and giftware. Today John Monk Trading is a market leader in the supply to all aspects of the retail trade including department stores, supermarkets, hypermarkets, retail chains and the $2 field. As well as retail, the promotional market continues extensively develop.

Representing international brand names such as S&P, Robert Welch, Evolution and Igloo to name but a few John Monk Trading has now helped establish these brands as household names in New Zealand.

John Monk Trading is located in Auckland where it has a substantial showroom and distribution warehouse facility at 103 Hugo Johnston Drive, Penrose. Employing over 20 staff which includes a national sales team that services New Zealand throughout.
